Leading financial services multinational is seeking a skilled Head of Application Management to join its innovative team. The resource will be responsible for building a skilled, robust, agile and well-trained Application Management & Support Team to serve ETS clients in Europe and Asia.
The resource will define and implement key processes, KPIs, and SLAs, manage a distributed international team, and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO in driving ETS's transformation toward scalable, client-centric solutions.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Define and implement AM practices, including process design, KPIs, SLAs, and escalation protocols
- Lead, mentor, and grow a geographically distributed team
- Ensure application reliability, availability, and performance in both on-prem and cloud environments
- Act as a point of escalation and coordination across development, operations, and client support
- Collaborate with product and dev teams to align support activities with roadmap priorities
- Contribute to the broader ETS strategic transformation, ensuring scalability and operational readiness
- Represent the AM team in front of clients and internal stakeholders
Requisiti: Expertise in managing applications in mixed environments (on-prem and cloud with AWS) Expertise in managing complex architectures (clustered solutions, distributed solutions, active-active solutions, etc.) Deep knowledge of the main application orchestrators / schedulers to handle the daily life-cycle Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows OS Deep knowledge of networking protocols: TCP, UDP Deep knowledge of shell scripting and Python Knowledge of DB administration and usage (Oracle and PostgresQL) Knowledge of the applications configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, Git) Knowledge of CI/CD tools to interact with the Development Team Excellent knowledge of English language Titolo di studio minimo: Comune e/o quartiere: Milano
