To strengthen the engineering team within a prestigious Motorcycle context, we are looking for a
Tyre Performance Engineer
The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing tyre performance during races and test ons, working closely with the technical team and the vehicle dynamics department. They will provide detailed analyses and strategic recommendations to maximize on-track performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze tyre performance during race and test ons, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with the Technical Team to implement effective tyre usage strategies.
- Provide timely and detailed reports to the Vehicle Dynamics Department Manager, highlighting results and areas for intervention.
- Contribute to race strategy planning based on tyre characteristics and track conditions.
- Work with the team to develop and optimize tyre usage strategies based on data and analysis.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport sector.
- In-depth knowledge of tyre dynamics and vehicle behavior.
- Experience with data analysis and simulation software.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and a good command of written and spoken English for effective communication in international settings.
