Hill International is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Deck Yard HSE Supervisor to join our team.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for the deck yard facilities in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate and conduct HSE training for all employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all HSE activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are met on all projects.
- Monitor and review HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for their implementation.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a deck yard or construction environment.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards in the MENA and Europe regions.
- Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
