We are looking for a Scientific Assistant to work in the FEEDCO Unit.

Retribuzione annua: 28000€ - 34000€

responsabilità

The interim will:

• Support the applicants that seek for the authorisation of feed additives;
• Support the risk assessment of feed additives;
• Collect and collate data from scientific databases;
• Support the publication process;
• Undertaking literature searches and reviews on selected scientific topics.

qualifiche

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
• Previous experience in risk assessment and in the animal feed field;
• Degree in Animal Science and/or Veterinary Science and related areas;
• Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.

Salary: approx. € 2259 per month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.
