For a global company in the travel sector, we are looking for an  IT Security Analyst Shipside, who will join the Cyber Security Team at the Company’s Headquarter in Genoa – Italy.
The candidate will be included in the Company’s GISCS team to work on the on-board operational technological systems

Key Responsibilities:           
  • Working with both Italian and US Cybersecurity Teams, and onboard Staff, in coordinating IT/OT cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Focal Point for Captain, Staffcaptain, Chiefengineer, Chiefelectrician, IT Officer for any IT/IoT/OT Security related topics.
  • Identification of risks and implementation of IT-Security controls for IT/IoT/OT environments on the vessels.
  • First responsible for GCS Maritime Safety / Planning and Implementation of IT/IoT/OT Security projects, including reporting.
  • Managing Vulnerability and Patching processes on all Costa vessels, including reporting.
  • Cooperating with all GCS Teams.

Requirements:
  • Degree in professional training / bachelor: IT security
  • Previous experience or relevant professional experience (at least 3 years) of professional experience in the IT sector and/or onboard as IT-Technican, IT-Admin or IT-Officer
  • Showcase expertise in Former IT based job on shipside like ITO, assistant ITO An academic background in IT security
  • knowledge about shipside IT-, IOT- and OT-Systems
  • Passion for technology, strong cybersecurity and compliance mindset and deep interest in being constantly up to date on new solutions;
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Sense of responsibility, a structured and analytical way of working as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
